Work Experience
Duane Morris LLP
San Francisco, CA
2023—May 2025
Partner, Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration Practice Group
As a partner in the Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration Practice Group, Shireen managed dozens of California Private Attorney General’s Act (“PAGA”) actions, class or other complex employment matters along with matters ranging from appeals before the National Appeals Division to negotiating the resolution of a nation-wide classification investigation with the Department of Labor. In addition to her employment related work, Shireen was actively engaged in helping others through her work on firm committees and her commitment to pro bono. As a member of the National Pro Bono Committee, she was an active leader in organizing local office and cross-office pro bono projects, including the creation of an on-going collaboration with Centro Legal de la Raza’s Unlawful Detainer Clinic program (assisting tenants facing eviction).
